What is Work Trade?

Work trade gives budget travelers, language learners, and culture seekers the chance to see the world, experience new cultures, or learn a new language through immersion on a budget. Work trade opportunities can be found at lodges, B&Bs, farms, farmstays, homestays, ranches, and hostels who are looking to exchange food and accommodation for just a few hours of volunteer work a day. Commitment period and weekly work hours vary from host to host.

The Hello is always on the lookout for hostel and travel lovers who want to be a part of our universe! You must love hosteling and hospitality, be positive and friendly, and be excited to be a part of our culture. Hostel travel or hospitality work experience is not mandatory, but let us know if you have any!

Min. commitment length: 8 weeks

Hours required: 24 hours per week
